Congratulations to Katelynn Brown for winning the 2nd place award for a B.Sc. Honours project at the 2017 PDAC-SEG Student Minerals Colloquium. The title of her poster was: Heavy mineral compositions in Saskatchewan till: classification and constraints on source, with a focus on garnets Barlow Medal for Best Geological Paper in a CIM Journal
Congratulations to Christine McKechnie, 2013 MSc graduate, for her fabulous work as senior author on the paper "Geological Setting, Petrology, and Geochemistry of Granitic Pegmatites and Leucogranites Hosting U-Th-REE Mineralization at Fraser Lakes Zone B, Wollaston Domain, Northern Saskatchewan, Canada." which was deemed the best paper on economic geology in a CIM journal during the last year.
